Wedding season is in full swing in Pakistan cricket right now, as the star pacer Haris Rauf and batter Shan Masood got married earlier this month, and now Shadab Khan also announced his nikah.

Shadab has become the third Pakistani cricketer in less than a month to tie the knot. The Pakistan all-rounder tied the knot with the daughter of former Pakistan spinner and current head coach Saqlain Mushtaq on Monday, January 23.

The star cricketer took to Twitter to confirm his wedding to Mushtaq’s daughter. However, he didn’t share any images and requested privacy for his family and his wife. Khan also jokingly provided an account number if anyone was offering a gift to the newlywed couple on Twitter.

Shadab Khan wrote on Twitter: “Alhamdulilah today was my Nikkah. It is a big day in my life and start of a new chapter. Please respect my choices and those my wife’s and our families. Prayers and love for all.”

The star cricketer also shared a note on Twitter, which reads: “Salam everyone. Alhamdulilah, today was my Nikkah. I am becoming part of mentor Saqi (Saqlain Mushtaq) bhai's family. When I started playing cricket, I wanted to keep my family life separate, my wife has asked for the same, she wants her life to remain private. I would kindly request everyone to respect her choice and our family's choice. However, if you want to send salami, I will send an account number.”

Meanwhile, as soon as Shadab broke the news of his nikah, his Pakistani teammates started congratulating the newlywed couple on social media. However, it was Imam-ul-Haq whose congratulatory note for Shadab caught everyone’s attention.

The Pakistani opener tweeted, “Many congratulations Shaddy. Worried for Bhabhi though, Allah Pak unko himmat dein. (May Allah give her strength)," Imam replied on Shadab's post with a laughing emoji.

Iftikhar Ahmed also congratulated Shadab. Here’s the tweet:
