Virat Kohli takes a jibe at Cristiano Ronaldo's critics with brutal Instagram post

Cristiano Ronaldo | GettyStar India batter Virat Kohli is an ardent follower of soccer and his love for Portuguese football great Cristiano Ronaldo is not a secret.

On Friday (January 20), Kohli once again expressed his admiration for Ronaldo after the latter produced a Man of the Match performance in the friendly match between Riyadh XI and PSG.

Ronaldo, who captained the Riyadh XI team, scored 2 goals in the fixture. His performance led to Kohli sharing an Instagram story, in which he took a jibe at “football experts” who have criticised Ronaldo lately.

"Still doing it at the highest level at 38. The football experts sitting and criticising him every week for attention and to be in the news are conveniently quiet now that no he's put in this kind of performance against one of the top clubs in the world. And he was apparently finished," Kohli wrote.

Talking about Virat Kohli, he seems to have regained his old mojo back. The former India skipper slammed two centuries in the recently held three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka.

In the ongoing ODI series against New Zealand, Kohli got out for 8 in the first game. He will now be seen in action in the second ODI at Raipur on Saturday (January 21).
