Indian cricket legend MS Dhoni has undoubtedly the sharpest mind in the game of cricket, and his cabinet full of ICC trophies is proof of that. However, another thing in which Dhoni excels is the DRS or the Decision Review System, in which he is crazily accurate whenever he opts for a review.

The former Indian skipper was excellent not only with the bat but also behind the stumps, and hardly any DRS decisions went against him, which earned him the Dhoni Review System tag from the fans.

Recently, former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina hailed Dhoni’s unparalleled decision-making skills and revealed that the legendary cricketer used to take the reviews at the last moment, and even he is aware that fans refer to DRS as the Dhoni Review System.

As reported by India Today, Suresh Raina told Viacom18 Sports: “MS Dhoni is aware that fans call DRS the Dhoni Review System. Even for me, it has always been the Dhoni Review System.”

Raina further added, “Only later, I discovered the real term. Dhoni always takes the review at the last second because the bowler always thinks that it is out but it is Dhoni, who, from behind the stumps has a clearer vision of all three stumps and can take a better call.”

Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Pragyan Ojha also joked that he felt that the umpire used to check if Dhoni had appealed for the wicket before raising his finger for the signal.

Ojha said, “I feel the umpire checks as well if Dhoni has appealed for the wicket or not. If Dhoni has appealed, it must be out.”
