Rishabh Pant's rescuer reveals initial moments when he helped the cricketer out of his car

Rishabh Pant is in stable condition at the moment in a hospital in Dehradun.

Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant met a serious car accident on Friday (December 30) morning. As per the reports, the incident took place at Mohammedpur Jat, near Roorkee, Uttarakhand.

Pant was reportedly traveling this hometown when his car met a horrific accident on National Highway 58. However, the star cricketer is now out of danger, but he sustained a few serious injuries and is currently getting treatment at the Max Hospital in Dehradun.

Now, India Today reported that a bus driver, Sushil was the first person to reach the accident site, and has claimed that he pulled out the star cricketer from the car before the blast.

He further revealed that Pant was badly injured and limping after the accident, and he had to break the glass to rescue him. But he was conscious, as he introduced himself as Rishabh Pant.

Giving further details about the incident and his rescue operation, the bus driver said that he was coming from the Haridwar side, while Rishabh was from the Delhi side when he saw his car hitting the divider. Then he stopped and ran for help.

Meanwhile, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government will bear the entire expense of Pant's treatment and asked the authorities to make all arrangements for the Indian cricketer’s treatment.

The Uttarakhand Chief Minister also said that an air ambulance should also be arranged if required.
