Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi hilariously revealed the real reason behind his and Haris Rauf's injuries at an event in Pakistan.
Shaheen reinjured his knee during the final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup between Pakistan and England last month in Melbourne and has been ruled out of action for a long period of time.
Haris Rauf made his Test debut in the first Test against England in Rawalpindi but suffered a quad injury while fielding and didn't bowl in the second innings of the match, which Pakistan lost by 74 runs. He has been ruled out of the remaining two Test matches as well.
Well, Shaheen recently attended an event with Haris Rauf and was asked about the reason behind their injuries at the event, and the star speedster’s hilarious response left everyone in splits.
In a viral video, Afridi can be heard saying that they are not unfit but that all that is going wrong is due to the evil eye before breaking into laughter with Rauf. He said: “Hum unfit nahi huye hai, hume nazar lag Gayi hai (We did not get injured, it’s just evil).”
