‘If you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks…’: Bumrah shares a cryptic post on Instagram for his critics

Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the T20 World Cup with a back injury.

Jasprit Bumrah | GettyIndia’s ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah on Wednesday (October 5) shared a cryptic post on social media after facing criticism over his recent injury.

Notably, Bumrah has been ruled out of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 with a back injury, causing a massive setback to the Indian team which has been struggling with death overs bowling lately.

After the BCCI confirmed through a press release that Bumrah won’t travel to Australia for the upcoming T20 World Cup, some fans vented out their frustration with Bumrah taking part in all the games of IPL 2022 but only playing 15 matches for the country this year.

Taking to Instagram, Jasprit Bumrah posted Winston Churchill's famous quote in his story that reads: "You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks."

Bumrah’s post amid all the criticism suggests that it was probably aimed at his detractors.

Earlier, the speedster had expressed his disappointment after missing out on the T20 World Cup bus due to injury.

“I am gutted that I won’t be a part of the T20 World Cup this time, but thankful for the wishes, care and support I’ve received from my loved ones. As I recover, I’ll be cheering on the team through their campaign in Australia,” Bumrah tweeted on Tuesday (October 4).

The BCCI will be naming a replacement for Jasprit Bumrah in the Indian squad for the T20 World Cup 2022 soon.
