Ajinkya Rahane and wife Radhika welcome second baby

Ajinkya Rahane recently led the West Zone to Duleep Trophy title.

Ajinkya Rahane with wife Radhika | TwitterIndia batter Ajinkya Rahane welcomed a new member to his family after his wife Radhika gave birth to a baby boy on October 5, 2022, he announced on social media.

Rahane married Radhika Dhopavkar, his childhood friend, on September 26, 2014. They welcomed their first child, daughter Aarya, in October 2019.

The cricketer who made his India debut in 2011, has played 82 Tests, 90 ODIs, and 20 T20Is thus far. He has made 4931 Test runs with 12 centuries, 2962 ODI runs with 3 tons, and 375 T20I runs with one fifty to his name.

Rahane took to social media and posted a heartwarming note for his fans and informed them of the new arrival in his family.

This morning Radhika and I welcomed our baby boy into the world. Both Radhika and baby are doing well and are healthy. We would like to thank you for all your wishes and blessings,” Rahane wrote on Twitter.

Rahane last played a Test match for India against South Africa in January and after that suffered from a hamstring injury in the IPL 2022 and made his return to domestic cricket.

On the work front, Rahane led West Zone to the Duleep Trophy title. His team defeated South Zone in the finale by 294 runs. However, he was a failure with the bat as he managed just 8 and 15 in two innings.
