Indian Sapphires are taking on English Reds in the sixth match of the Global Power Cricket League (GPCL) T20 at Yamuna Sports Complex Cricket Ground, Delhi on Tuesday (October 4).

Former India pacer Munaf Patel is leading Indian Sapphires in this match. He represented his country in 13 Tests, 70 ODIs, and 3 T20Is, claiming 125 wickets across formats. He also played an instrumental role in India’s 2011 World Cup triumph.

Munaf came for the toss along with England batting great Ian Bell, who is captaining English Reds in the GPCL T20. Bell has played 118 Tests, 161 ODIs, and eight T20Is, amassing over 13,000 runs with 26 centuries.

English Reds skipper Ian Bell won the toss and opted to bat first.

Both of the teams are coming into this match on the back of victories in their tournament opener. While Indian Sapphires thrashed American Indigos by 65 runs, English Reds defeated registered a convincing 35-run victory over Scottish Mulberries.
