Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma getting a farmhouse built in Alibaug

Kohli's brother Vikas completed formalities of buying the land after Ganpati Mahurat.

Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma are getting a lavish farmhouse built in Alibaug as per a Times of India report. Alibaug is well-known for being a getaway place for many celebrities and many of them have vacation houses in the coastal city.

As per reports, Kohli and Anushka’s farmhouse will be built on 8 acres of land near Zirad, a village in Alibaug The couple are spending almost 19 crores 24 lakh, and 50 thousand rupees according to the space. A deposit of 1 crore and 15 lakhs has been made to the government treasury already.

Virat is currently in Dubai for the Asia Cup cricket tournament. Therefore, following Ganpati's Muhurat, his brother Vikas Kohli completed the transaction through 'power of attorney'.

Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma visited Zirad and inspected the place six months ago.

Almost 8 acres of land purchase and sale documents were registered with the Associate Sub Registrar Ashwini Bhagat at Alibaug. The total cost of this land is 19 crore 24 lakh 50 thousand rupees and for the same, the family deposited stamp duty of 3 lakh 35 thousand rupees.

Virat Kohli will join Ravi Shastri and Rohit Sharma as cricketers who have a home in Alibaug. Ravi Shastri built a house in Alibaug ten years ago, while Rohit Sharma's 3-acre farmhouse in Mhatroli-Saral area is under construction, informed Amit Naik, the builder of this farmhouse.
