The wait for Virat Kohli’s 71st international century is getting extended day by day. It has been more than 1000 days since the right-hander smashed a ton. The former Indian skipper scored his last hundred in 2019 and since then he hasn’t looked himself.

There was a time when Kohli used to smash centuries for fun and even Sachin Tendulkar’s record looked in trouble. But in recent times, he has been struggling to score even a half-century.

Things have turned this much worse for him that even his place in the side is getting questioned and is garnering a lot of criticism for blocking the way for youngsters.

19th August 2022 marked the 1000th day since Kohli scored his last ton and the Barmy Army highlighted this by posting: “1,000 days."

Barmy Army’s post didn’t go well with fans as they lashed out at the fan group and their post left Twitter fuming.
