WATCH: Umesh Yadav’s sensational 5-wicket haul while playing for Middlesex in Royal London Cup

On Sunday (August 7), the speedster put on a show with the ball for Middlesex against Durham at Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street. He ran through the Durham batting line-up, returning with a five-wicket haul (5/33) to bundle out the opposition for 268 in 49.2 overs.

Umesh accounted for the dismissals of Graham Clark (0), Scott Borthwick (1), Liam Trevaskis (2), Oliver Gibson (0), and Chris Rushworth (4). While three of the wickets were bowled, one came in the form of an LBW and the remaining one was caught and bowled.

Reacting to his performance, Umesh Yadav tweeted: “Always a special feeling to get a 5 wicket haul. Onwards & upwards.”

Coming to the match, Middlesex rode on skipper Stephen Eskinazi’s unbeaten 146 off 132 balls to get over the line in 41.1 overs with 9 wickets in hand. Mark Stoneman (62) and Sam Robson (55*) also slammed half-centuries during the chase.
