Birmingham Phoenix took on Trent Rockets in their first game of The Hundred at Trent Bridge on Saturday (August 06).

During the match, flamboyant batter Liam Livingstone, who represents Phoenix, was at his absolute best as he smashed one of the best spinners in the world Rashid Khan for four sixes, three of which came on consecutive balls.

Livingstone's carnage came in the 82nd, 83rd, and 84th ball of the Phoenix's innings.

Watch the clip here:

With Livingstone scoring a stunning 47 off just 28 balls and Moeen Ali leading from the front with 35 off just 21 balls, the team scored 143/7 in the first innings.

Notably, Livingstone was the leading run-scorer of the competition last season with 348 runs to his name. He had a brilliant start to this season as well, with a blistering knock that included 1 four and 5 sixes.

In response, the Men in Yellow chased down the mark with 6 wickets still in hand, spearheaded by opener Alex Hales, who hit a spectacular half-century (58 off 41 balls), and Colin Munro (36 off 22 balls).
