Former Indian cricketers, Saba Karim and Reetinder Sodhi, showered rich praise on Arshdeep Singh. They believe that the left-arm pacer has already proved himself and deserves to be in India's squad for the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup 2022.
Ever since Arshdeep made his debut for India in T20Is, the speedster has caught the limelight with his impressive bowling. Not only he has bowled sensationally in the powerplays but has restricted runs in the death overs as well.
Arshdeep's heroics have been lauded by many and they feel that he should play for India in the upcoming marquee tournaments. After his exploits on debut match against England last month, he carried his good form in the ongoing T20 series against West Indies.

It’s fair to say that he has looked the most settled Indian bowler in this series and has delivered for his side whenever his captain has asked him to.
Speaking to India News Sports, Saba Karim said that Arshdeep shouldn’t just play because his left-arm bowling favours him but he should be part of the team because he’s currently among the best Indian bowlers.
"I don't agree with the theory that they should play Arshdeep just because he is a left-arm seamer and they need variety. He should play because he is one of the best among the three-four fast bowlers at the moment," Saba Karim said.
Lauding Arshdeep, Reetinder Sodhi said that the 23-year-old already looked ready for big stages. Hailing him as calm headed, he said that the pacer should definitely play in the T20 World Cup 2022.
“Arshdeep Singh already looks ready and has delivered whenever his team has needed him to. In any crunch situation, he seems to have confidence in his shoulders and is very calm under pressure.
“His variations have also been spot on, and he should focus on the upcoming games. If he does well in the last two games, he is definitely going to the [T20] World Cup,” he said.
Arshdeep will be next seen in action in the fourth T20I against West Indies on 6th August in Florida. Asia cup is slated to begin on 27th August. India will open their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on 28th August.
