After Nurul Hasan sustained an injury to his index finger during the second T20I against Zimbabwe on Sunday (July 31), he got ruled out of the series. All-rounder Mosaddek Hossain will now captain the visitors in the third Twenty20 International against Zimbabwe in Harare on Tuesday (August 2).

Mahmudullah will replace Nurul in Tuesday's decisive third game of the series, according to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) statement.

Mahmudullah is already in Zimbabwe with the ODI squad for the upcoming 50-over series. He was rested for the T20I series as Bangladesh were trying to rebuild after 11 defeats in their last 13 games.
