India's batting superstar Virat Kohli has been a hot topic of discussion among fans and the cricket fraternity, due to his poor form with the bat in all three formats of the game.

Notably, Kohli has not scored a century in international cricket since 2019 and has been going through a lean phase with the bat for a long time, due to which he has been rested for the West Indies tour.

Meanwhile, cricketers – both former and current – have often faced questions about Kohli's form and his future, and one such incident happened to former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar on Twitter.

Well, after announcing the release of his biopic “Rawalpindi Express - Running Against the Odds” on July 24, Akhtar indulged in a Q&A session with his fans on Twitter.

He gave a lovely reply to a fan when he was asked to describe Kohli in one word during a Q&A session on Twitter.

One user asked Akhtar, “One word for Virat Kohli #Rawalpindiexpressthefilm,” to which the former pacer quickly replied by saying, “Legend already.”

Recently, Akhtar had said in his YouTube channel:People are saying that he should be dropped. Virat Kohli is finished. There is nothing more left in his career and he would not be able to do anything more in his career. To them, I say Virat Kohli is the greatest player. In the last 10 years, if there has been any greatest player, it is Virat. He has 1-2 bad years, he still has scored runs, just the century has not come.”

He added, “As a Pakistani, I’m supporting Virat Kohli because he has 70 centuries. It’s not Candy Crush. Only a great player can score these many centuries, something a normal player can’t do. When Kohli comes out of this phase, it will be a different Virat Kohli.”
