Chetan Sakariya and Mukesh Choudhary set to play in Queensland's T20 Max series

The T20 Max series will begin next month in Brisbane.

Indian pacers Chetan Sakariya and Mukesh Choudhary are all set to play in Queensland's inaugural edition of the T20 Max series, beginning next month in Brisbane. The T20 Max series will run from August 18 to September 4, with the final set to be held at Allan Border Field.

The talented youngsters will train at the Bupa National Cricket Centre, as well as join the Queensland Bulls' pre-season preparations ahead of the T20 Max series in Australia.

Notably, Sakariya will play for the Sunshine Coast, while Choudhary will represent Wynnum-Manly in the T20 Max series. They will now spend time in Brisbane as part of an exchange program between MRF Pace Foundation and Cricket Australia.

Cricket Australia said in a statement:Player and coaching exchanges between the MRF Pace Foundation and Cricket Australia have been in place for almost 20 years, with the two Indian players marking the resumption of the relationship that was paused due to COVID.”

The matches will be played across three weeks from August 18 to September 4, with the final scheduled at Allan Border Field.

Notably, Sakariya had already made his ODI and T20I debuts last year against Sri Lanka, while Choudhary is yet to make his India debut but made headlines with his performance in the IPL 2022, where he picked up 16 wickets in 13 games for the Chennai Super Kings.
