England on Friday (July 15) announced squads for the upcoming ODI and T20I series against South Africa at home.
Veteran leg-spinner Adil Rashid has been named in both squads after he missed the white-ball series against India, having been permitted by the ECB to make The Hajj pilgrimage.
Durham seamer Matthew Potts has received his maiden call-up to the ODI squad after impressing one and all in England's four Test matches earlier this summer.
Jonny Bairstow, who has been in top form lately, has been included in the T20I squad after he was rested for the India series.
To manage his workload and fitness, England’s Test captain Ben Stokes has been rested for the T20I series. He will also not feature in The Hundred competition, due to start next month.
While the three-match ODI series will get underway on July 19, the three-T20I series will be played from July 27 to July 31.
