Former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh will return to action on the cricket field in the second edition of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) in September.
Besides Harbhajan, former Indian cricketers Virender Sehwag, Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan will feature in the tournament.
A total of 110 former international cricketers will be taking part in the second season of the LLC, featuring four teams.
“It makes me feel super charged to be back on the ground and play with the global legends of the game. I am looking forward to September eagerly,” Harbhajan quoted as saying by PTI.
Among the former international stars, Australian speedster Brett Lee, Sri Lankan spin legend Muttiah Muralitharan, World Cup winning England captain Eoin Morgan and Bangladesh’s Mashrafe Mortaza have confirmed their participation in the upcoming edition of LLC.
Meanwhile, former West Indies cricketers, Lendl Simmons and Denesh Ramdin have listed their names for the league's player draft.
The inaugural edition of the tournament had former cricketers from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia, England divided into three teams representing India, Asia and Rest of the World respectively.
