Former Sri Lanka wicketkeeper batter Kumar Sangakkara is one of the popular figures in the world of cricket. During his playing days, he was one of the mainstays for his team and often bailed his team out of the trouble with his batting, leadership skills and keeping.
Having scored over 28,000 runs across formats, he was regarded as one of the best batters to have played the game and along with the likes of Tillakaratne Dilshan, Mahela Jayawardene, Sanath Jayasuriya and Lasith Malinga took Sri Lanka cricket to great heights.
Sangakkara, who was part of the expert panel of Sky Sports for the three-match Test series between England and New Zealand along with Naseer Hussain, turned back the time and left many amazed with his strokeplay.
