Australia’s tour to Sri Lanka has seen them face many challenges. Not only the visitors have had some intense on-field battles, but they also suffered a plethora of injuries, which has ruled a few players out.
However, despite facing many challenges, they have displayed some staggering performances. They won the T20I series by the margin of 2-1 but suffered a disappointing 3-2 loss in the ODI series.
After the white-ball series, the focus now shifts towards the two-match Test series, which will begin on 29th June in Galle followed by the second Test on 8th July at the same venue.

The tourists have begun their preparations for the Tests and had a quality net session ahead of the first game. In one of their practice session, senior opener David Warner was seen batting right-handed in the nets.
Warner looked completely in control as a right-hander and played some impressive shots. Notably, the southpaw often plays switch hits in white-ball cricket and entertains his fans.

Warner had a decent T20I and ODI series. In 20-over games, he scored 130 runs at an average of 65.00 while he amassed 155 runs at an average of 31.00 in the 50-over format.
