Chahal has established himself as one of the top spinners in limited overs cricket.

Yuzvendra Chahal was instrumental in Rajasthan Royals' (RR) making it into the IPL 2022 final, as well as India's recovery from a 0-2 deficit in the recently-concluded five-match T20I series against South Africa at home.

Since then, he has managed to re-establish himself as one of the top spinners in the world in limited-overs cricket and is now a senior part of the Indian side as well as the RR in the IPL.

Another key contributor to RR’s IPL 2022 success was 20-year-old opener Yashasvi Jaiswal. After playing the first three matches in the tournament, he was dropped for the next seven games. But Jaiswal regained his form and has been a revelation for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy.

Jaiswal has created a name for himself as a top-order batsman, but he stated that he aspires to improve his bowling skills as well, which Chahal assisted him with.

Talking to the Times of India about his interaction with Chahal, Jaiswal said, “He is a mystery man (laughs). He is also a legend in his department. He has a number of variations. He plays chess very well. I talked to him and have taken bowling tips. He told me that I can be a good all-rounder. I told him that I want to be the world's best all-rounder. I want to be the best in both departments - bowling and batting.”

Jaiswal has only played three first-class matches but already has three centuries to his name, two of which came against Uttar Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy semi-final.
