Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh on Monday (20th June) refused to make any prediction or give a statement on the India-Pakistan clash in the T20 World Cup 2022. He said that the last time when he did the same, things went in a bad way.

The much-anticipated clash between India and Pakistan is all set to take place in the T20 World Cup 2022. The game will be played at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on 23rd October.

Notably, the Asian Giants clashed with each other during the T20 World Cup 2021, which saw Pakistan thumping India by 10 wickets and registering their first victory over the arch-rivals in ICC tournaments.

Ahead of that clash, Harbhajan stated that Pakistan should give India a walkover as India will beat them easily and they will be disappointed so there is no point in playing.

However, with just a few months remaining for the high-voltage clash, Harbhajan refused to pass any comments.

Speaking to Shoaib Akhtar on Sportskeeda, Harbhajan Singh said that he won’t make any predictions or give any statement for the India vs Pakistan clash in T20 World Cup 2022.

“We have another T20 World Cup, and this year, I won’t be giving any statement and won’t talk over who will win [between Pakistan and India]. ‘Mauka Mauka’ or whatever, we will see what is going to happen as last time around, things went bad when I talked about this,” Harbhajan Singh said.

India had a disappointing outing in the T20 World Cup 2021 as they were knocked out in the group stage. On the other hand, Pakistan were one of the best teams in the tournament but they failed to qualify for the final as they were pounded by Australia in the semi-final.
