The first ODI of the three-match series between the Netherlands and England was played at the VRA Cricket Ground in Amstelveen on Friday (June 17). Well, the cricket world got to see a typical gully cricket scene during the first innings of the ongoing first ODI in Amstelveen.

After losing the toss, England was asked to bat first and the Netherlands’ Shane Snater gave England an early blow by dismissing the opener for just 1 off 7 balls.

But after Roy’s wicket, Philip Salt (122) and Dawid Malan (125) launched a scathing attack on the Netherlands’ bowlers in Amstelveen, adding 222 runs for the second wicket.
