Indian batting great Sachin Tendulkar had one of cricket’s most celebrated rivalries with Australia’s Shane Warne. Whenever they locked horns on the cricket ground, millions tuned in to watch the contest.

On March 4 this year, the Australian spin legend died of a suspected heart attack, aged 52 while on holiday in Thailand, leaving the entire cricketing world in a state of shock.

While dining at a restaurant near Warne's UK house, Tendulkar, who had a healthy camaraderie with the iconic spinner, took to Instagram to remember him.

"Thought of Warnie as we were dining at this restaurant in Little Venice (London), close to where he stayed when in the UK. #UnitedKingdom #Travel #LittleVenice #London," he wrote on Instagram.

Shane Warne, also called 'King of Spin,' is widely regarded as one of the best leg-spinners ever to play the game. He represented Australia in 145 Tests and took a staggering 708 wickets. He also played 194 ODIs and scalped 293 wickets. He was the first-ever bowler to take 1000 international wickets.

The leg-spinner was also a more than handy lower-order batter, having scored 3154 runs in the traditional format.
