Legendary Indian batter and Director of Cricket at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), VVS Laxman, is all set to reportedly perform duties as Team India's head coach.

According to reports, the Indian Cricket Team will have two separate squads for their tours to England and Ireland. Dravid will continue to coach the India squad for the England tour, while Laxman will step in as Team India's head coach for the Ireland tour in late June.

Laxman is expected to travel with Team India as head coach for the two-match T20I series against Ireland to be played on June 26 and 28, while Dravid will help the national team prepare for the rescheduled fifth Test, as well as the limited-overs series against England.

According to a report by ESPNCricinfo, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will select two different squads for the Ireland and England tours.

Dravid will be with India's Test squad, which will play a four-day game in Leicester from June 24-27, before they travel to Birmingham for the rescheduled Test to be played from July 1-5. Team India is expected to leave on June 15 for England.

Dravid will join India's Test squad after the conclusion of India's five-match T20I series against South Africa on June 19 in Bengaluru.

Ireland tour will start barely a week after the end of the South Africa T20Is and it remains to be seen if the national selectors pick the same squad.
