Team India are all set to host Australia in a three-T20I series in September this year, just ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.
As per a report in foxsports.com.au, “Australia will play a number of white ball series with home games against Zimbabwe, New Zealand, West Indies and England coming either side of three T20s in India in September.”
The series will help both teams to prepare for the showpiece tournament, slated to be held in Australia from October 16 to November 13.
Notably, the Australian cricket team is also due to tour India for a four-match Test series in February and March next year.
After the IPL 2022, India will host South Africa in a five-T20I series from June 9 to 19, followed by a tour of Ireland for two T20Is.
The Rohit Sharma-led side will then depart for England to play the rescheduled fifth Test, which was postponed last year due to COVID-19 break in the Indian camp.
The Men in Blue will then take on England in three T20Is and as many ODIs. The tour will run from July 1 to July 17.
