According to reports, Indian cricketer KL Rahul is planning to get married later this year to actress Athiya Shetty. The two have been dating for over three years and made their romance public just over a year ago. Since then, Rahul and Athiya have made public appearances together and collaborated on ad campaigns.
Citing unnamed sources close to the Shettys, Pinkvilla.com reported that the wedding is scheduled for winter in 2022 and the preparations for the wedding have already begun. For quite some time, the duo has been giving others couple goals.
While the batter displays his cricketing abilities on the field, his ladylove encourages him on from the stands.
Athiya has been a frequent at all LSG games in IPL 2022, cheering on KL Rahul and his squad. LSG were defeated by RCB by 18 runs last night, despite Rahul's 30 from 24 balls.
LSG needed 182 runs to win, but only managed 163/8 in their 20 overs. Even in defeat, Rahul achieved a personal milestone, becoming the third-fastest hitter to reach 6000 T20 runs.
It took Rahul 179 innings to achieve the mark, which is five fewer than it took Virat Kohli.

Rahul celebrated his 30th birthday a few days ago, and Athiya wished the batter with an emotional post. She wrote, “anywhere with you, happy birthday”, accompanied by a few of their photos.
