Former India cricketer Suresh Raina on Monday (February 7) made a heartfelt post after the demise of his father, Trilokchand Raina. Trilokchand took his last breath on Sunday after a long-fought battle with cancer.
Raina's father was a military officer and he had mastery in preparing bombs at the ordnance factory. He called his father 'pillar of his strength' in the tweet posted a day after the demise.
"No words can describe the pain of losing a father. Yesterday, on passing away of my father, I also lost my support system, my pillar of strength," Raina tweeted.

"He was a true fighter till his last breath. May you rest in peace Papa. You will forever be missed," the ex-India cricketer added along with their picture together.
Raina's ancestral village 'Rainawari' is in Jammu and Kashmir, and his father had left the village in the 1990s due to the killings of Kashmiri Pandits in the valley. They settled down in Muradnagar town after leaving Kashmir.
The 35-year-old will be in the upcoming IPL 2022 mega-auction after Chennai Super Kings (CSK) released him. The franchise retained only MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Moeen Ali, and Ruturaj Gaikwad.
