The picture of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's daughter Vamika was all over social media on Sunday (January 23). Her face was revealed during the third ODI between India and South Africa after the host broadcasters telecasted it.
Anushka and Vamika were seen cheering for Kohli after he completed his half-century. The India batter dedicated his half-century to his daughter and he did an adorable baby celebration after reaching fifty.
But it seems like the couple is not happy with the pictures being circulated on social media. Kohli and Anushka had earlier requested the paparazzi to not click pictures of their daughter.

On Monday, Kohli posted an Instagram story and wrote that they were not aware of Vamika's face being revealed on the live telecast. "Hi guys! We realise that our daughters images were captured at the stadium yesterday and widely shared thereafter," he wrote.
The 33-year-old added that they were caught off guard and would request media and fans again to not share the picture of Vamika. "We want to inform everyone that we were caught off guard and didn't know that the camera was on us.
"Our stance and request on the matter stays the same. We would really appreciate if Vamika's images are not clicked/published for reasons we have explained earlier. Thank you," he added.
