MS Dhoni adds Vintage Land Rover 3 in his car collection

Former India captain MS Dhoni has a good collection of cars and bikes and his latest addition is a '1971 Land Rover Series III Station Wagon'. He bought it in an online auction of vintage and classic cars, organized by Big Boy Toyz.

The online auction had started on December 19 and it came to an end on the 8th January 2022. The company that organized the e-auction hasn't revealed the price at which Dhoni has got the Land Rover.

Speaking on the e-auction, Jatin Ahuja, Founder & CEO, Big Boy Toyz said, “We aimed at being a one-stop solution to car enthusiasts. Our main goal while working on this venture was to facilitate the domestic market with a portal where vintage cars enthusiast can buy and sell the royalties. The response has been overwhelming as 50% of the cars have already been sold out. 

"This has led us to expand our clientele, reaching an entirely new set of customers who are first-time buyers at Big Boy Toyz. We shall be back with the next auction by the end of February and follow the same every 2 months.”

Several celebrities participated in the auction from all over the country. The Big Boy Toyz company had showcased a list of 19 exclusive cars for auction including cars from Rolls Royce, Cadillac, Buick, Chevrolet, Land Rover, Austin, Mercedes-Benz, and others. 

The auction for vintage Volkswagen Beetle 1960, started at Re 1 and went up to Rs 25 lakhs and was won by a young Tech Entrepreneur. MS Dhoni participated in the auction and bought a Land Rover 3 for himself. 

The company claims that there was high interest and strong response on all the vintage cars placed for e-auction as 50% of the total stocks is already being sold. 

Fans have often spotted Dhoni in his bike or car in his hometown, Ranchi. His love for the bike and car is a secret to none and he owns the likes of Hummer H2, Land Rover Freelander 2, Audi Q7, Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, and Nissan Jonga.
