Australia batter Marnus Labuschagne on Monday (January 10) interacted with his fans on Twitter and answered a few interesting questions. He was questioned about Indian cricket as well during the Q&A session on the micro-blogging site.
When asked who's the best Indian batter and bowler he has faced in his career, Labuschagne replied with the name of India captain Virat Kohli and off-spinner R Ashwin. Ashwin had got Labuschagne out twice in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2020-21.
The 27-year-old, in another response to a fan, tweeted that Ashwin is among the top three Test bowlers he has ever faced, along with Pat Cummins and Jofra Archer.
Labuschagne also opened up on playing the Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament. "Are you considering playing in the IPL?", asked a Twitter user.
Responding to the question, he replied that he would love to play the cash-rich league. "Yeah would love to at some point," his response read.
The Aussie batter is currently on top of the ICC Test batting rankings with 915 rating points. Joe Root is on the second spot with a rating of 915, and Kohli is on the ninth spot with 747 ratings.
