Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer is often seen engaging in banter with ex-England captain Michael Vaughan on Twitter. They both don't leave the opportunities to take a dig at each other whenever their cricket teams underperform.

Jaffer is popular among Indian cricket fans on social media for his humor and witty posts. The netizens love his subtle jibes and befitting replies whenever there's light banter targetted at the Indian cricket team.

The 43-year-old spoke about his Twitter-friendly face-offs with Vaughan and he admitted that it's fun. “He (Michael Vaughan) has a habit of doing unnecessary poking, which I don’t like. He doesn’t waste any opportunity to tweet something that might poke Indian fans even though we know how well England has performed.

"Indians don’t poke as much as he does. But it is a friendly banter between us as we have played against each other for quite a long time,” Jaffer said during an interaction with InsideSport.

Recently, Jaffer had posted a video after England suffered an innings and 14-run defeat in the third Ashes Test. The Joe Root-led side was bowled out for 68 runs in the second innings.

The ex-India cricketer didn't miss out on pulling Vaughan's leg with a clip recalling his old tweet.
