Woodlands Hospital issued a statement that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly is currently hemodynamically stable after having received Monoclonal Antibody Cocktail Therapy, used for the treatment of mild-to-moderate COVID-19 in high-risk patients.

Ganguly is double-vaccinated and has traveled extensively while serving as BCCI President, participating in all professional activities. He was admitted to the hospital late on Monday night (December 27) as a precautionary measure after his RT-PCR test returned positive.

This is the third time the 49-year-old has been hospitalized this year, as he underwent a right coronary angioplasty earlier in January, and after two weeks, two stents were placed in two of his arteries, and now he is hospitalized after being tested positive for COVID-19.
