Former India cricketer Irfan Pathan and his wife Safa Baig were blessed with a baby boy on December 28, 2021. This is Irfan’s second child as he has a boy Imran Khan Pathan who was born in 2016.
Meanwhile, Irfan also revealed the name of the baby- Suleiman Khan Pathan. Sharing the news, Irfan confirmed that both the baby and the mother are healthy and are doing well. Irfan had married Safa, a Hyderabad-based model in Mecca on 4 February 2016.
"Safa and me welcome our baby boy SULEIMAN KHAN. Both baby and mother are fine and healthy. #Blessings", Irfan tweeted as he shared the first picture of the baby.
Irfan keeps sharing photos of his wife and son Imran on social media. Considered to be one of the best all-rounders produced by India, Irfan ended his India career with 29 Tests, 120 ODIs, and 24 T20Is. He scalped a total of 100 wickets in the whites, 173 wickets in the ODI format, and 28 in T20I cricket.

With the bat, he had scored 1105 runs for Inda in Tests at an average of 31.57. In ODIs, he amassed 1544 runs, and in T20Is, a total of 172. He last played an international match for India in 2012 and announced his retirement from the game in 2020.
