Australian spin wizard Shane Warne suggested four changes to the England side for the third Test of Ashes 2021-22 at MCG.

Nothing has been going right for England in the ongoing Ashes 2021-22, as the Joe Root-led side has suffered two heavy one-sided defeats. They first suffered a 9-wicket thumping in Gabba and then were decimated in a 275-run thrashing in the day-night Test in Adelaide.

With being 0-2 down in the series, it’s now a must-win situation for England if they have to fancy their chances of winning the Ashes 2021-22.

The next match of the five-match Test series is slated to begin on 26th December at MCG. With only a few days remaining for the start of the Test, it remains to be seen if the Joe Root-led side can stage a comeback or not.

Shane Warne took to his Twitter account and while praising the hosts for a hard-fought win in Adelaide suggested four changes for England for the next match.

Warne said that the visitors should pick the right team and include a spinner in Australian conditions. He stressed that the Joe Root-led should bring Zack Crawley, Mark Wood, Jonny Bairstow and Jack Leach in the team for the MCG Test.

"Congrats to the Aussies on a hard fought win. England have a lot to do heading to Melbourne as they are now 2-0 down. They must start by picking the correct team including a spinner for the conditions. Crawley, Wood, Bairstow & Leach would make my team. For Oz Cummins for Neeser," Shane Warner Tweeted.
