India's spinner R Ashwin picked his three best Pakistan cricketers from the current team during a Q&A session on social media. The Pakistan cricket team have some promising talents in their squad who showed their ability during the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2021.

Ashwin picked the trio of Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and fast bowler Shaheen Afridi as his favorites. Pakistan were successful in beating India in an ICC World Cup tournament for the first time during a group-stage match in the T20 World Cup 2021.

It was a terrific performance from Babar, Rizwan, and Shaheen to ensure Pakistan's historic 10-wicket win. Babar and Rizwan had posted an unbeaten 152-run stand to complete the chase after Shaheen bagged the key wickets of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and Virat Kohli.

"I've always been following Mohammad Rizwan and have been speaking about him for a while about the quality he brings and plays very crucial knocks but I think the standout batter & the ways he bats, the hundred in Australia, it has to be Babar Azam," Ashwin said.

"After that real sticker that has been going around, Shaheen Shah Afridi is well, real talent. Pakistan has always some talented cricketers and they have more now," he added.

Pakistan recently defeated West Indies in a three-match series by 3-0. Rizwan and Babar once again posted a 150-plus partnership for the opening stand; their fourth this year.
