India pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has become a father for the first time as his wife Nupur gave birth to a baby girl on Wednesday (November 24).
According to a report published in India Today, the couple's first child took birth in Delhi’s Fortis hospital.
Bhuvneshwar and Nupur had tied the marriage knot on 23rd November 2017 in a ceremony in Meerut. They have been blessed with a daughter just a day after celebrating their fourth wedding anniversary.
It's a heartwarming news for Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who endured tough times on and off the field in 2021. Earlier this year, his father passed away due to liver cancer while he was dropped from playing XI during the T20 World Cup 2021 after his failure in the first game against Pakistan.
Last week, Bhuvneshwar returned to India’s playing XI in the home T20I series against New Zealand. He took three wickets in the series at an economy rate of 7.50 as the hosts completed a 3-0 whitewash.
