West Indies Cricket team is all set to tour Pakistan for three-T20I and three-ODI series in December this year.

The T20I series between the nations will be played from 13th December to 16th December in Karachi. While the three-match ODI series, which will also be the part of ICC ODI Super League, will be played from 18th December to 22nd December at the same venue.

Confirming the same, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Rameez Raja said that the West Indies tour will kick start the ‘exciting’ home season followed by PSL 2022 and Australia’s tour.

He is hopeful that NCOC will support the series and will allow crowds to watch their favourite players in action.

“After missing out on home internationals in September and October, the West Indies tour will formally kick-off an exciting and entertaining season of men’s international cricket in Pakistan with the Pakistan Super League 2022 and Australia’s first full series to follow. I am hopeful that the NCOC will support this series by allowing maximum crowds so that the fans can watch live in action their favourite players and back both sides,” PCB chairman Rameez Raza said.

West Indies will be touring Pakistan for the first time since April 2018, where they played three-T20I series. Notably, the Kieron Pollard-led side will also be playing ODIs in Pakistan for the first time since December 2006.

West Indies tour of Pakistan will be a massive boost along with a sigh of relief PCB after New Zealand canceled their tour due to security reasons and England also opted out of a short tour.
