BCCI invites applications for coaching roles in India senior Men's team

Ravi Shastri, Bharat Arun, and R. Sridhar's tenure will be over after the T20 World Cup in UAE and Oman.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has invited applications for the positions in India's senior men's cricket team, which includes head coach, batting coach, bowling coach, and fielding coach.

The applications for the role of a head coach should be submitted by 5 PM on October 26, 2021, while for the rest of the positions the deadline is November 3, 2021.

The official press release by the cricket board also mentioned the invitation of applications for the position of Head Sports Science and Medicine with the National Cricket Academy (NCA), which should be submitted by 5 PM on November 03, 2021.

BCCI has mentioned the email id for the application of each role, and they instructed the applicants to mention the position title in the subject of their mail.

The tenures of current Team India head coach Ravi Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun and fielding coach R. Sridhar will be over soon after the T20 World Cup in UAE and Oman.

The key accountability in the job description for the head coach role included that the successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, maintaining, and enforcing the disciplinary codes within the India Men’s team.

It also added that the head coach will be responsible for developing a world-class Indian cricket team that delivers sustained success in all conditions and formats, inspiring current and future generations of cricketers and stakeholders with their approach to the game.
