India captain Virat Kohli posted a picture on Friday (October 15) in which he can be seen tied with a chair. He compared the situation with life inside the bio-bubble for a cricketer.

The bio-bubble created for safety purposes in the COVID-19 pandemic takes a toll on the mental health of cricketers. The area of movement is restricted for every team. Sometimes they remain in the bubble for months which isn't easy to deal with.

Players have often left the bio-bubble in the middle of a series or tournament. Recently, Caribbean cricketer Chris Gayle had left the bubble of Punjab Kings during IPL 2021 UAE leg due to the same reason.

"This is what playing in bubbles feels like," wrote Kohli on Twitter. The India skipper will be seen in action during the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Kohli recently led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) into the playoffs and it was his last IPL season as captain of the franchise. He confirmed to be with RCB till his very last match of IPL as a player.
