IPL 2021: "Enjoying every minute on the field," says Kedar Jadhav ahead of IPL in UAE

IPL 2021: "Enjoying every minute on the field," says Kedar Jadhav ahead of IPL in UAE

Kedar Jadhav is currently training with Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of IPL 2021.

Kedar Jadhav | BCCI/IPLSunrisers Hyderabad's (SRH) Kedar Jadhav is ready for the second leg of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) in the UAE. Even though the 36-year-old is currently not in India’s international plans, he is still enjoying every minute on the field.

SRH posted a YouTube video where the Pune-based cricketer talked about his childhood dream of playing the sport at the highest level.

I remember since the time I was a kid, I really wanted to play the sport at the highest level and now that I've played last 10-15 years, I am enjoying every minute on the field, the right-hand explosive batsman said in the latest YouTube video.

IPL 2021: "You'll not walk into the first XI immediately," Uthappa says Dhoni clearly communicated with him

In this video, Jadhav who was picked by the Hyderabad-based franchise in a mini-auction earlier this year after he was released by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), also provided an insight into his thought process while approaching a training session.

Every day my only check is at the end of the training session I just ask myself, 'Have I done the basics right while batting and fielding?', and if that's right, I think most of the time, I get what I want from each session,” the India cricketer concluded.

As far as SRH is concerned, they had sacked David Warner as their captain and appointed New Zealand’s Kane Williamson to lead the side for the remainder of the season before the suspension of the league earlier this year owing to the COVID-19 outbreak in bio-bubbles of different franchises.

With just 2 points to their name, SRH is languishing at the bottom of the table and have only one win under their belt in 7 matches played. The Orange Army will be beginning its UAE-leg of IPL 2021 against table-toppers Delhi Capitals on September 22 in Dubai.
