Joe Root has most Test wins under his belt as England captain.

Ben Stokes and Joe RootEngland came back strongly from the defeat in the second Test at Lord’s as Joe Root and Co. completely dominated India in the third Test at Leeds to win the match by an innings and 76 runs and level the series 1-1.

While Root has been fantastic with the bat, his captaincy was under the scanner after his tactical blunder caused England to lose the Lord’s Test on the final day from a completely winning position.

But after a win at Headingley in Leeds, former England skipper Michael Vaughan and current coach Chris Silverwood showered praises on the 30-year-old but also believed that the Ashes win will define him as a captain as well.

As Vaughan and Silverwood are waiting for the results of the upcoming Ashes series, Sky Sports asked their followers about their opinion on Joe Root needing to win Ashes to be classed as one of England's 'greatest Test captains.
