Hong Kong cricket team captain Aizaz Khan has been arrested by the Hong Kong police over allegations of insurance fraud on Tuesday (July 20).

According to a report in the South China Morning Post (SCMP), Aizaz is allegedly involved in an insurance scam involving HKD 3 million (Around Rs 2.87 crore).

The 28-year-old was taken away by police from his public housing flat in Chai Wan after he was found to have continued playing matches despite claiming he was injured in a traffic accident and unable to work.
