After the win against Zimbabwe in the only Test match of the series, Bangladesh is set to shift to limited-overs cricket with a three-match ODI and three-match T20I series.

However, ahead of the upcoming white-ball action, the Bangladesh team might face a huge blow as their key pace bowler Mustafizur Rahman has had an injury scare.

The left-arm pacer has sustained a grade 1 tear in his right ankle and is expected to miss the first match of the ODI series starting from July 16, as reported by Cricbuzz.

The pacer could only bowl five balls in the one-day practice match, before leaving the field due to ankle pain on Wednesday (14 July).

Earlier in the day, the Bangladesh fans would be happy to see the return of Tamim Iqbal after the initial injure scare, who blasted off 66 runs in just 62 deliveries.

The one-day practice match saw no outcome as the match was stopped due to bad light, but the visitors would be happy with their performance in the possible action of the play.

Both teams will be in action starting from the first ODI in Harare this Friday (July 16) and all the remaining matches of the ODI and the T20I series would be played on the same ground.
