Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan is widely regarded among the best spinners in the world today. He has troubled many of the top batters in the game with his googlies and other mysterious deliveries.

While talking to Harsha Bhogle in a video for Cricbuzz, Rashid recently recalled dismissing the great MS Dhoni during the IPL 2018 Qualifier match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings.

Rashid had rattled Dhoni in that all-important game as the CSK skipper failed to read a wrong ‘un from the SRH leggie.

Dhoni lunged forward to push the delivery but was beaten by Rashid’s quick googly, resulting in the ball went ball went through the huge gap between bat and pad to disturb the timber.

“I bowled to him, I got his wicket. It was a dream for me to get the wicket of MS Dhoni. You know how good he is against the spinners,” Rashid said about the dismissal.

Apart from Dhoni, Rashid has dismissed big guns like Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Rohit Sharma, among others while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League.

Rashid Khan has featured in 69 IPL matches so far, claiming 85 wickets at an outstanding economy rate of 6.24 while his bowling average reads 20.11.
