“Perfect setup for training,” BCCI posts picture of Ageas Bowl as Team India gets set for first training session

Team India will play New Zealand in the WTC final between June 18 to 22.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to their official Twitter account and posted a picture of Ageas Bowl ground with the Indian team set to start their preparations for the World Test Championship final. 

Team India is all set to lock horns against New Zealand in the final of the inaugural edition of the ICC World Test Championship, to be played at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton from June 18.

The Virat Kohli led-side arrived in England on Thursday (June 3) and are currently in mandatory quarantine but will soon begin their training sessions.

The Indian contingent will continue to be in quarantine for another 10 days but will continue to practice and use the gym as the hotel is adjacent to the stadium.

With Team India starting their preparations for the WTC final shortly, BCCI took to their official Twitter account and posted a picture of Ageas Bowl, calling it a perfect setup for training. 

“Perfect setup for training,” BCCI captioned the picture. 

After the final of the WTC, Virat Kohli-led Team India will face England in the five-Test series starting 4th August.
