Virat Kohli and Sunil Chhetri's hilarious banter over his "accidental crossbar challenge" video

Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli and Indian national football captain Sunil Chhetri are known to be close friends and share a great camaraderie with each other. The two Indian masters of cricket and football have immense respect and admiration for each other.

Last year in March, Kohli, and Chettri had won the hearts during their conversation on Instagram and now they yet again stole the hearts with their fun-filled banter on social media over India captain’s “accidental crossbar challenge” video on Twitter.

Well, Kohli’s love for football is well-known to all, and even he is a co-owner of the Indian Super League (ISL) club, FC Goa. The dashing cricketer is often seen playing football during their training sessions.

On Tuesday, May 24, Kohli posted a video clip on Twitter, where he displayed his ability to hit perfect free-kicks in an accidental crossbar challenge. The 32-year-old Indian skipper struck a pile-driver from outside the box and struck the crossbar as the goalkeeper stretched to stop it.

In the short clip, the right-hander was seen covering his face in his palms in disbelief after the ball hits the crossbar, which left Chhetri impressed as the highest goal-scorer of India dropped a hilarious comment on Kohli’s “accidental crossbar challenge” video on Twitter.

Reacting to Kohli’s stunning kick, Chhetri wrote on Twitter, “Saare coaching sessions ka ek hi invoice bheju, ya aasan kishton mein chukaoge, champ? (Should I send one invoice for all the coaching sessions or would you like to pay them in easy installments champ?)”

Well, the two legends continued their hilarious banter as Kohli took it to the next level with another cheeky remark on the footballer’s comment on Twitter.

He wrote, “Yeah right skip. Aap mauj lelo poori (you have a blast out of this).”
