"Keep the real ones close," Yuzvendra Chahal posts family picture after parents test COVID-19 positive

Chahal's father is currently admitted to a hospital while mother remains in isolation at home.

Team India spinner Yuzvendra Chahal shared a family picture after his parents tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. 

With the second wave of coronavirus is raging across the country and many cricketers along with their family members have tested positive for the coronavirus and some have even lost their loved ones. 

Earlier this week, Yuzvendra Chahal’s parents tested positive for the deadly virus and his father is currently admitted to a hospital where he is receiving treatment after showing severe symptoms, while his mother continues to remain in home isolation.

His wife Dhanashree Verma revealed the news and urged everyone to stay at home and take care of their family. 

"My parents-in-law have tested positive with severe symptoms. My father-in-law is admitted and my mother-in-law is being treated at home. I was at the hospital and I have witnessed the worst. I am taking all the precautions but... Guys please stay at home and take proper care of your family,” Dhanashree Verma said. 

While his parents fight COVID-19, Yuzvendra Chahal took to his official Instagram account and posted a family picture. 

“Keep the real ones close,” Yuzvendra Chahal captioned the picture.
