New Zealand Cricket (NZC) on Thursday (13th May) announced the annual retainer contracts for the senior national men's team for the 2021-22 season.
A total of 20 players have been offered an annual contract for the upcoming season. The contract saw all-rounder Daryl Mitchell and wicketkeeper Glenn Phillips getting their maiden New Zealand Cricket contracts.

While the likes of Ajaz Patel and wicketkeeper BJ Watling, who announced his retirement recently, missed out on being offered New Zealand contracts this season.
Daryl Mitchell was awarded for scoring his maiden Test and ODI century this year while Glenn Phillips excelled in T20 cricket.
