Pujara became the latest Indian cricketer to get their first dose of COVID vaccine | TwitterIndia’s Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara, along with his wife Puja received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccines on May 10, 2021. Pujara took to Twitter to post pictures of him along with his wife getting vaccinated.

On Monday, India skipper Virat Kohli also received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Kohli also urged everyone to get vaccinated as soon as they can. Apart from him, Ajinkya Rahane, Ishant Sharma, Siddharth Kaul, and Deepak Chahar have also received their first doses of COVID vaccines and all of them have urged others to follow suit and get vaccinated at the earliest.

"Puja and I got our first dose of the vaccine today. Urge each one of you to try and get yours too if eligible,” Pujara captioned his post.

Pujara will be leaving for England along with the Indian squad for the World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand and the five-match Test series against England which will begin after the WTC final.
